Welcome from the Headteacher

Welcome to St Paul's Catholic Primary School's website! We are extremely proud of our school and love to share our events and news about our vision to enable children to be the best they can be.  We have some places available and extend a warm welcome to your family in joining our community.

Our Catholic ethos underpins every aspect of school life and with Christ at the centre, we pride ourselves on building positive relationships based on mutual respect, tolerance and the love of Jesus. As a result, our school is a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment.

The staff are committed to offer care and nurture alongside an engaging curriculum with high expectations and ambitious goals for all our children. We are keen to develop the potential of every child in our care, helping them to grow to be the best person they can be. At the core of everything we do is a commitment to all children being safe, happy and successful within our faith-filled community.

St Paul’s most recent Ofsted inspection resulted in a ‘Good’ judgement and we continue to develop and grow together as a community invested in the future of every child entrusted to our care. We are committed to working effectively as a team of professionals at all levels of the school community to provide high quality learning, accessible for all within a positive learning environment. We very much value the partnership between home and school, encouraging parent/carer interaction and involvement to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.

At St Paul’s Catholic Primary School, we offer a curriculum which is broad, balanced and relevant - both to the needs and to the context of our school community. We seek to develop independent, creative thinkers who are both curious in their search for knowledge and understanding, and resilient in the face of challenge.

Inherent to our taught curriculum is the commitment to providing rich life experiences to develop and enhance the cultural capital of our pupils. It is our aim that attending St Paul’s will be a life- enriching experience for your child and we hope that they will embrace these opportunities and enjoy their time with us.

If you would like to arrange a visit to the school, please contact the school office and we can arrange a convenient day and time for you to tour our wonderful school. Please contact us on 01752 365459 or [email protected] to arrange a visit.
